Je suis une pizza

 Took a not-very-well-deserved study break last Sunday and went to Gourmet Pizza Kitchen for lunch, they have the very best bacon and mushroom pasta, just looking at these pictures again makes me hungry mmmm.. Apologies for the flat hair, it looked fine when I took it out of my bun this morning, but then throughout the day it sort of..deflated :/

In other very excited news, I finally got around to watching the Christmas special of Downtown Abbey (this obsession started whilst I was in Shanghai and managed to track down an english copy of season 1) and holy cheese crackers Matthew and Mary are together, AT LAST- well played script-writers, well played.

Anyone who hasn't watched the show obviously has no idea what I'm talking about, but for those who have; thoughts?

There's glitter in the air

New shooooooes. These two pairs are the styles that I've been longing after for ages, and I think I'll be getting a lot of wear out of them. Since seeing loafers of all sorts from lots of people's instagrams, I've loved the look of them and now I've finally got a pair of my own! My gran said they look like cinderella's glass slippers. (!?) I've also always wanted something beige and glossy and here they are! With bonus ankle straps too! They look so delicate and pretty on, especially with the gold heels; gives it a sort of a luxe feel.

Here's the story of my trip told in pictures, resembling some sort of vague chronological order. Ahhhh, those happy work-less days.

Since it's term four, (aka report writing time) all teachers are frantically spitting out masses of test notifications and assignments left right and centre, I'm buried under a humongous mountain of workload. Deeply questioning the meaning of life at the moment. Reminiscing of the happier times in these photos.

When I spotted h&m in one of Shanghai's shopping centres after having lunch in one of the restaurants, I quite literally sprinted in and almost burst with excitement. Especially after the beautiful new campaign with Lana Del Rey having been all over the internet. I also heard that a new Forever21 store had opened on the 29th of August. Imagine my delight! Two shops who still haven't made their way onto Australian shores. Eeeee. These four items are so versatile and can be paired with almost every outfit.






Please, please, please open a store in Sydney soon?

Back home

Finally back in my own room after an exhausting ten hour flight from Shanghai. Desperately need a long hot shower and a very long nap. Many more pictures coming as soon as I sort out my memory and and unpack luggage.
