Life lately

It's 1:30pm and I'm sat in my dressing gown, cup of tea beside me typing this up. IT'S THE HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

1. Friday mcdonalds treat, the very best way to end the week.

2. Finishing up Papertowns by John Green. To be honest, it wasn't amazing and the plot was a little slow.

3. Taken in the middle of winter when the trees were bare.

4. This one was taken at the end/ beginning of spring, these two photos side by side are a beautiful contrast, nature amazes me sometimes.

5. The Great Gatsby. I completely understand (and agree!) with it's title as the 'great american novel'.

6. Only have time for breakfasts like these on the weekends during the term.

7. Saturday sleep-ins; a very good feeling indeed.

8. 'The world's best burgers' is a very big claim.

9. Grill'd does have the best veggie burger I've ever had though. Try Garden Goodness if there's one of these in your town.

10. Bunting is just so cheery and happy it puts a smile on my face instantly.

Been more than a little m.i.a. on the blogging front lately, I'm blaming it on assessment week, but now it's the holidays whooooo. So get ready to see my mug a whole lot more (hopefully). Looking forward immensely to catch up on tv (priorities!) and eating (again, priorities :)). This is a bit of a filler post, basically me popping in and letting you all know I'm still alive. Week in Instagrams

Pheww, most assessments and tests are done and dusted! Well I do have three more next week, but I can finally take a breath and sit down and read a book I don't have to analyse to bits!

1. Green-tea is officially my favourite fro-yo flavour, so nice on a hot day.

2. Tired and a little dazed looking after work.

3. Magnum sandwiches are the very best kind of sandwiches.

4. Really liking glittery accent nails, adding a little sparkle to your average french pink mani.

Pretty bummed that schools starting next week and this is the last week of the summer holidays; man they went by so quickly! But looking forward to finally seeing my bestest friend who gets back to Sydney in four days. :-D

Sorry for my rather long and unexplained absence on my blog. I've just come back from an exahusting Duke of Ed 2 day hike which completely wiped me out so I'm currently in my fluffy pink dressing gown revelling in my return to civilisation (you have no idea how much I appreciate hot showers at the moment!) I still have three assignments to go and then I'M DONE! WHOOOP-DE-DOOOP. This is a very lazy post as I don't have the time, or energy to really edit and take pictures so fast and easy insta-snaps will have to do for now.

Week in Instragrams

Here are a few photos from the weekend before school started. Happy days wandering around with nothing in particular that needed to be done, occasionally stopping for some food. :') 

But of course, school has well and truly started again and it's back to working hard to meet due dates and furiously writing down notes in class (with some very unproductive procrastinating in between). 

Though it's almost torturous getting up so early in the morning again, especially since it's bitterly cold and sometimes still dark, it's also nice to feel constructive again. After two weeks of lounging around the house browsing the internet for nothing-in-particular.
