Cupcakes and the city

Last week-end I went with my dad to the city to help him pick out a new wallet, which he has been putting off for months! Of course I managed to sneak in a cheeky cupcake afterwards ; )

Now I'm watching a ridiculously cheesy periodical; "Lost in Austen". I'm quite a sucker for anything vaguely based on Pride and Prejudice and this show is brilliant! It's about a girl who loooooves Pride and Prejudice and wishes her life to be more similar.. and then she does, somehow there's a door in her bathtub and she ends up in 19th century England. It's so ridiculously bizarre, but in the best way possible. Off to watch some more of it now.

I'm not coming back, but I can't stop waiting

Happy Saturday! It's been a relaxing lazy day, just what I needed after a long stressful week, with lots of homework and assessments that needed to be worked on. Most of them are due next week, eek! Took a bit of time off and didn't do a single productive thing today. Feels so good. Looking forward to the holidays where I can do this everyday. : D

Enjoy the rest of your week-end!

Spring has sprung

Spring is finally well and truly here! Days are longer, the flowers are blooming and the temperature is rising. That spring cheerfulness is in the air and everyone seems to be smiling more. I can't wait to eat paddlepops  every single day and lie in bed listening to a thunderstorm rumbling outside after a sweltering hot day.

Last weekend, I went to a korean barbeque house where you order the skewers you would like and then grill them on a metal bbq with hot coals inside, and then the edges would turn your skewers so your meal would be roasted evenly. What a clever idea! They tasted amazing.

(the skewers are blurry because they were turning)

Aaaand a cupcake from last week, bought to support RSPCA, who can say no to cupcakes for charity? :D

Sukin facial cleanser

Sukin's foaming facial cleanser is the new face wash that I have been using for the last few weeks now, and I've really been enjoying the fresh herbal fragrance and now very gently it washes your skin. Unlike a lot of other cleansers I've used that completely strip your face of all the essential oils and leaves you feeling very tight and uncomfortable, it's very gentle and takes off all the dirt and oil, leaving all your natural moisture. It's also free of many harmful chemicals and is environmentally friendly! :)

What are your favourite skincare products?
