She's got diamonds on the soles of her shoes

The green is much more sparkly in real life I promise

A few days ago, whilst having a browse at the lovely jewellery in Lovisa, I spotted these pretty studs. Link here if anyone is interested. The thing that brought them to my attention was how very sparkly they were. Anyone who has ever stepped into a jewellery/accessories store of any sort know that there are literally piles of piles of studs in every single colour of the rainbow, but these are most certainly very special and unique.

What makes them different is that they are made from Swarosvki crystals; which would explain the sparkliness and I think are the result of a Lovisa collaboration with them. How exciting!

There were quite a few colours to choose from, but I've picked the clear because it goes with everything. And also an emerald green pair, because one of my school colours is navy green and I thought it would add a little twinkle to my otherwise boring uniform.

'Tis the season to be jolly

With Christmas well on it's way, I'm really starting to feel the festive spirit, especially since all the big shopping centres, and individual store windows are bringing out their Christmas decorations.

True red and very dark navy blue are my favourite nail colours for the silly season since these two colours go with just about everything. Working on how to wear them together

Baking Christmas cookies always fills the house with that lovely, spicy, baking smell and they are wonderful to nibble on with a cup of tea. Planning on making another batch soon, since these got eaten very, very quickly.

Counting down the days till Christmas with my chocolate advent calendar (child at heart!). :)

Bought this mint and gold bangle the other day with a friend, she got a matching lilac one. So this is officially a 'friendship bangle'. <3

Hope everyone's holiday preparations are going well, whatever holiday you celebrate.

Give me a minute while my heart stops breaking

With summer, comes unfortunately, mosquitoes. Sometime in the middle of the night last night, I heard the familiar  irritating buzz of a mosquito and my first thought was "Just take a bite and go away so I can sleep." Turns out, it did, several big fat bites on my face. So no close ups of my face today, for obvious reasons.

Moving to nicer, prettier topics, I spotted this necklace in my jewellery box the other day and wondered why I don't wear it nearly as much as I should, so I'm wearing it today. I love the vintage feel and the little pearl embellishments; it was a birthday present from a friend and I think she bought it from Love Couture..

Going to stay home for the rest of the week-end until the big itchy red lumps on my face begin to fade away. Wasn't that an attractive mental picture.

Heavy metal

(Metal cuff and spike stud bracelets from forever21, chainlink bracelet h&m)

When I spotted h&m in one of Shanghai's shopping centres after having lunch in one of the restaurants, I quite literally sprinted in and almost burst with excitement. Especially after the beautiful new campaign with Lana Del Rey having been all over the internet. I also heard that a new Forever21 store had opened on the 29th of August. Imagine my delight! Two shops who still haven't made their way onto Australian shores. Eeeee. These four items are so versatile and can be paired with almost every outfit.

Please, please, please open a store in Sydney soon?
